# FEEDBACK · decision B · round 1 · Frank · 2026-10-18

Review of the archetype sheet (https://archetypes.pina-brand-006-rj-laravel-admin.pages.dev/ · /canvas/). Organised by area. Quotes are Frank's words.

## Decision

- **Archetypes approved as the system for all non-flagship pages.** "I'm very happy for you to take on the rest using our component system."
- **Five flagships get bespoke back-and-forth rounds** (not built from the archetype alone):
  1. Orders index
  2. Order detail (the order "PDP")
  3. Support tickets
  4. Pricing
  5. Designs (everything in designs)
- **A02·a approved:** tabs, one sub-resource per tab; header + tabs under the front matter, plus a side panel.
- **A11·a approved:** the 3-pane inbox.

## Global truth rule (applies to every board)

- **Never invent data.** Only real statuses, real fields and real buttons. Verify against the real system before drawing it.
- **No letter prefixes on order numbers.** "We don't add alphabetical characters to our codes." The same goes for any other code.
- **No Hold button on the order page.** It is not a real thing.

## Shell

- **Jobs = a compact component.** Hover/click shows a tight list of ALL ongoing jobs, not one "Export CSV 62%". The dropdown's **right edge aligns with the button's right edge**.
- **Notification centre is separate and important.** "A big thing in our system." It gets its own bell + menu, not merged with jobs.
- **Locale switch:** globe icon only. A click toggles EN ↔ 中文 (two locales today). English is used 99% of the time.
- **UTC clock:** clickable; it opens a timezone choice.

## Orders index (flagship · 65–80% of Frank's time)

- Explain how the page is actually used before redesigning it.
- **Saved views.**
- **Choose which status tabs show.** The old panel shows far too many; also show which tabs are available.
- Keep the density and the columns.
- The **"Meas."** column is unclear.
- **Add a Product type column.**

## Order detail / PDP (flagship)

- Needs much more fleshing out.
- Too many buttons today (local print, cloud print, edit, menu). Improve that UX.
- Only real actions.

## Designs (flagship)

- **EN / CN side by side is correct** for designs.
- Capture every setup step: images, codes, system name EN/CN, printer name EN/CN, surcharge, supplier, radio/option type.

## A05 · Dashboard

- **Dashboard ≠ analytics.** Rename it. Analytics is a future deep workstream with Frank.
- **Factory countdown: keep his structure** — days → factories nested → orders due. Not the redesign shown.

## A06 · Jobs

- Two different things: **order print jobs** vs **cloud-agent jobs**.
- The agent jobs are misnamed today ("Fabric Purchase Jobs"): they cover fabric orders, event messages, scheduled messages, WeChat, reminders. Agents have tags. Propose a rename.

## A07 · Gantt

- "Fine but not diamond quality."
- Real statuses only.
- Columns: order ID · customer name · factory. No factory location.
- Research what the ideal gantt looks like.

## A08 · Vision checks

- The Pass / Fail buttons: icon and the P / F key hint **crash into the container border** (screenshot supplied). Fix it.

## A09 · Settings

- Great. The tab side menu is loved.

## A10 · Template editor

- The versions panel is a little too wide.

## A11 · Tickets (flagship)

- **AI suggested reply must be an explicit button** (next to Cite article), never automatic — AI costs money.
- Show the **original ticket body**.
- Tickets may have **no order**.
- "Hold" / "Peek order" are unclear.
- The wallet is missing **reason templates**.
- Pinned context = a **flex column, never an overlay**.

## A12 · Pricing (flagship)

- **No Chinese.** Pricing is super-admin only.
