**Status:** round 1 for Frank's review, 2026-10-18. Design only. No code, no ledger, no commits.
**Boards:** 22 + 1 summary. Each board has a burned-in label chip, the screen at 1440×900 in the locked 4b·R shell (the same shell as the Orders flagship), and an annotation panel with decisions, sources and tags.

## Truth rules on every board

- **No Chinese anywhere.** The pricing pages render English only, and the tables hold numbers, not names (TRUTH-PRICING §0; FEEDBACK-B-r1 §A12).
- **Currency per column.** Wholesale is in the retailer's **settlement** currency (retailer ↔ RJ). Retail is in its **consumer** currency (retailer ↔ customer). The badge sits in the column header. Navy = settlement, green = consumer. Amounts are never converted (`designs.blade.php:45-63`, `PricingService.php:72`). The board retailer uses a live **EUR → USD** pair. P20 shows the live **CNY → USD** pair.
- **Real scope:** retailer × main product × product (`PricingController.php:139-141`). The Product filter is the Jacket | Trousers segment.
- **Real names:** 2-Piece, 3-Piece, Blazer… (16 live main products). The Jacket design list is the real 101 rows: 22 categories and 79 options (rj-admin `get_pricing_grid kind=designs`, retailer 4 · main product 2 · product 1).
- **Save models are the real ones.** Design pricing is one form with **one Submit** (`designs.blade.php:9-81`). Fabric pricing (the combinations grid) saves **per cell** (`PricingController::updateRetailerPricing :718-830`).
- **Import / Export belong to fabric pricing only.** They are per retailer (`retailer_combos.blade.php:6-18`). Design pricing has no CSV.
- **Master pricing is retired (403)** and is never drawn (`PricingController.php:68`, `web.php:1482-1486`).
- Retailer names are fictional. Their currency pairs and counts are the live ones (13 online: 9 USD/USD · 2 EUR/EUR · 1 EUR→USD · 1 CNY→USD). A dotted underline marks an example value. The one real stored design price shown is **Hand: 20.00 USD · 30.00 EUR · 1 day**.
- Tags: purple dashed = **proposal**, amber dashed = **needs backend**, blue = **API only**.

## What the real data changed in the design

- **Most design rows are not priced.** For a live EUR→USD retailer, 1 of the 79 Jacket options carries a price. That is why the page has the Priced filter, the "priced / options" counts per category, and a quiet "—".
- **Fabric pricing is small today.** Every live retailer grid has one collection ("Essentials", 28 codes), and the price is the same down the collection. The grid fits on one screen, and "Fill all" (P09, proposal) is the natural bulk action. The 10,000-row windows are legacy capacity.
- **"Excess" means Plus Size.** Orders use `excess_*` when `is_excess = 1`. Formulas head the same split "Regular" and "Plus Size".
- **0 means different things on the two grids.** On design pricing, 0.00 is a real price. On fabric pricing, ≤ 0 stores NULL. Both boards say so in words.
- **Retail goes live.** Shop sites read retail prices live (MCP `set_retailer_design_pricing`), so the review dialog states what a save reaches.

## Open questions for Frank (labelled options, source per element)

1. **Who can open Pricing?** · **1a** super admin only (drawn, P18) · 1b anyone with `update pricing` (the API gate). *Source:* FEEDBACK-B-r1 §A12; `AdminPermissionsSeeder.php:393-397`; `routes/api/v1.php` pricing writes `update pricing|admin`.

Everything else drawn is UI-only on existing endpoints: `GET/POST /api/v1/admin/pricing/designs`, `PATCH /pricing/retailer`, `GET /pricing/retailer/{retailer}`, `POST /pricing/import/{retailer}`, `GET /pricing/export/{retailer}`, plus Billing surcharges, pattern and formulas.

## Could not verify

- The live **support / orders** role permissions for Pricing beyond the sidebar gate.
- Whether an order edit re-prices from the current grid. The boards only claim that placed order lines store their prices.
- TRUTH §5 P5 lists "Non-Functional 974" under Buttonhole Finish. For this retailer the live list has only Machine and Hand, and row 974 is Peak. The boards follow the live read.
- Real names of formula design variables 10 and 613. Only Jacket Lining 940 is drawn.
